Engineer - Production Operations Consorcio SGF Global 25 sep

Work with the Well Service Team to help optimize the engineering and operations side of well service operations. Work with Workover Completion Specialist (WOCS), be the liaison between the WOCS & the Asset Development Engineers (ADE), and solve problems on the most difficult wells as they are encountered. Duties include handling day to day problem wells, casing liner designs, remedial cement design, working with internal & external regulatory groups, solving big picture efficiency problems, optimizing well work processes, providing helpful input to ADE's procedures/recommendations. Evaluating idle wellbores for upside potential or P&A

 Responsibilities:

1. BS degree in engineering
2. Minimum 3 years experience as a production engineer.
3. Demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering theory to  solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities
4. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and post appraise cost effective and economically successful workover and completion programs
5. Proficiency in performing economic evaluations of projects including risk analysis
6. Working knowledge of oilfield chemistry as it relates to corrosion, scale and paraffin deposition
7. Ability to interact effectively with team members
8. Demonstrated ability to make technically and economically sound business recommendations with incomplete information often in short timeframes
9. High proficiency in all required technical and economic  software packages
10. Demonstrated problem solving skills, root cause analysis skills
11. Demonstrated project management skills
