Sales experience in technology companies is needed
Senior Sales Professional responsible for within broad business/product area ,responsible for generating orders and revenue by persuading customer to buy. Acts as a main contact point for key customers. Understands customer's strategic and business plans. Implements account strategy. Identifies products and/or solutions and develops a product offering to meet customer needs at an optimum profitability. Builds understanding of customers key business drivers and uses this knowledge for creating profitable business. Acts as an operational business manager, relationship manager, sales person and business developer in his/her defined business area.
Key Tasks
Carries out action plans and short-term objectives to implement strategy for key distributor or wholesale channel. Sells products/services to existing channel partners. Influences channel partner's buying decision, regarding product portfolio and quantities, to maximize revenue. Gains in-depth understanding of channel and business drivers, and applies knowledge to retain and grow existing accounts. - - Develops and maintains effective relationships with channel partner. Participates in Demand/Supply Balance planning. Develops internal networks, creates dialogue and shares information with colleagues.
Typically 4-8 years relevant experience. Recognised expert in their field and preferred in the region (depth & breadth).
